Lake Tenno, Italy

We drove up to Lake Tenno, in the Dolomites. A beautiful turquoise lake in the mountains. The water was chilly - perfect for this hot Italian day. Here's the road we took up - one of two choices!

When we got there, I was speechless with how beautiful it was - look at the water! You could see the fish swimming around from 15 feet away.

Daddy took me out into the water - which I kind of liked, and kind of didn't.

Sites and Sounds from Italy

For some reason, the Italian cops drive around in ferraris - something about "money under the table" or something grown up like that...good thing they weren't looking for us on our way to Riva del Garda!

We got to Lake Garda and it was beautiful - a nice little resort town with lots of swimming, sailing, and relaxation. Here's a diamon sailing around on Lake Garda...

As we drove up through the Dolomites, we came face to face with a the Tour de France - not really, just an Italian bike race through the mountains. These riders were coming down the hill at us VERY fast!

We saw later that they were on their way down after reaching a summit, so ready to get to Riva and start drinking!

Once we left Amsterdam, we flew to Verona, Italy on July 1. Here is our sweet Euro Car we drove around. And a glimps of super daddy carrying ALL of our stuff!!!

Look at all the places we could go - Dubai, Istanbol, Hong Kong! But we chose to go to Verona. It was a good choice....

I Know German!

So I've learned a few things here and there along the way in Europe - even some German. I can say Opa now! I love you Opa - we're all thinking about you and Bonnie. Love you both!

Sites and Sounds Around Amsterdam

This city is beautiful and big! The flower district smelled good! Here is our hotel room - we shared it with Ingrid and baby Sien.

Riding Bikes in Amsterdam

Bike riding around Amsterdam with Daddy was a highlight!

And the next day on the big streets...

When in the Netherlands, do like the Nederlanders...we rode bikes all over the place. I sat in this little seat in front of daddy and steered while he peddled. We make a great team. I yelled out "wheeeeeeeeeeeeeee" and he would go faster. Then I would high five him. Mama kept calling out "slow down" but we didn't listen.

Arriving in Amsterdam

We left Germany on June 27 and took the train to Amsterdam. This was a nice ride across lots of little German towns, some industry, and then into the big city!
