Off to the Stockshow!

Olivia and Daddy went to the stockshow for the second time this week!  She dressed up in her cowgirl gear including purple pants and a purple hat!  She was being pretty camera shy so it was hard to get any pictures...here is her protest where she WILL NOT look at the camera!  But it made a cute pictures!

But going with Daddy made her happy!

Hello out there...Harlow still sleeps a lot but we are getting more and more moments of wakefulness!  She is beautiful!

Harlow's First Week

Olivia Loves Being Involved in Harlow's Care

Early on, Olivia loved getting her own ultrasound...

Olivia must have used every instrument during this visit to check us all out.  Luckily Aubrey (the midwife) is super patient!

It's a Girl!! Welcome Harlow Sky...

We were blessed with a wonderful New Year's surprise.  We welcomed our new daughter, Harlow Sky, to the world on Dec 30 (a little over 2 weeks early).  We had a beautiful birth at Mountain Midwifery with Aunt Mo there to encourage Mommy along.  Harlow was 7 lbs 9 oz and 20 inches long.  She is a sweet, squeaky little baby with hardly a cry yet out of her (we're sure there's lots more to come!).  Olivia has embraced feeding, changing diapers, and making sure she doesn't cry...she is a terrific big sister who completely loves Harlow.

Below is the ultrasound picture that we hid throughout the whole pregnancy - this tells us it's a girl, but we didn't look at this until now!

I've taken to helping Daddy out any chance I get!  We had a big job to shovel, but together we got it done!
