New Baby = Love

Today we saw our new baby.  As you can see in picture 2, this one has already mastered yoga headstands.  We love our little yoga baby and are so so grateful for this little life!  Send all your prayers that we continue to have a healthy pregnancy!  Due date - Jan 15, 2012.

Colorful Girl!

I like to pick out my own outfits these days...this is one I think Grandma will like a lot!

Me and My Daddy

Opa's Visit

Opa came to visit and stayed with us for a few weeks.  We loved having him there everyday!  He would play with me, and his little dog Miss Chief became my new best friend.  Here is Opa and MissChief...

Mommy went to meet Opa in Albuquerque to keep him company on the drive up to Denver.  The weather was crazy. On one side of the Raton Pass it was showing like crazy...

And the other side was dry as a New Mexico landscape!

We spent lots of time together with the whole family.  This night we had a barbeque together.

One of the highlights was the jumping thing that someone gave us.  Watch Emmett jump!

Learning Bathroom Stuff

I'm learning all sorts of new stuff to do in the bathroom.  I'm teaching my baby how to go potty!

And I've learned to blow dry my hair!

Silly Seattle Cousins!

We had a super fun trip to see our cousins in Seattle.  They taught me how to let loose and be crazy...

Dancing at the Boulder Creek Festival

Do you think I have a shot as a belly dancer when I grow up?

Easter 2011

Easter this year was a multi-event occasion. Good thing I can actually enjoy this kind of thing now!  First, we had an Easter Egg hunt in our neighborhood.  Here is the Easter bunny that showed up - I was terrified of him, but Daddy was ok.

We made our own Easter baskets at school.  Mine is the one on the far right - orange of course

My next Easter egg hunt was at school. Here I am getting eggs!  Look at all my eggs!

After the egg hunt at school, we died eggs at home.  I was very careful with all the eggs - kind of!

On Easter morning - I found an Easter basket that the Easter bunny left for me!  It was full of candy and toys - wow!  Once I sorted through that - we had our own egg unt in our backyard.

Then  it was on to my cousin's house for MORE egg hunting!  Here we all are - somehow me and the twins picked out pink and black to wear!

Cutest twins EVER!!! Brielle is on the left and Elliana is on the right.

She Sings, She Plays Music...the Next Alison Krauss?

Bring Your Kid to Work Day

This year, I was big enough to go to work with Daddy!  I learned how to look through a microscope and he showed me how to teach a class.  I might grow up to be  a teacher like him.

Funny Girl!

Arvada Kite Festival

We went to the Arvada Kite Festival with our neighbors and I was the lucky one who got to fly the kite with Carl!  He was super patient and let me try about 10 times.  We finally got it up, but after a few tries...the videos below show our super kite flying efforts!

Here's our first try...

Here is our second try - I tried to run fast!

Finally - success!  And just as we got it up, another kite comes from no where, wraps around Mommy and I drop my kite! But practice is all I need to really compete in the competition next year.  Maybe I can win the youngest flyer category!

My Texas Roots Are Showing!

Mommy always says that if you are from Texas, you have to be a good meat eater!  And I am!  (although we do know a couple of vegetarians from Texas, we won't mention their names by their own request).  Maybe one day I'll try the vegetarian thing, but not for now!

Two Year Appointment

My 2 year check up meant two new things...standing on the scale and wearing a little medical gown!  Who knew that 2 year old got to be so grown up!

I finally was at a weight that my doctor was happy with!  Geez it took a lot of pork to gain this much weight!

Bowling With Nicholas

We went bowling for my first time.  Naturally, I loved pushing the buttons as much as I loved pushing the ball.  But the real fun was getting to wear those great shoes.  I had no idea they would want them back - that was a bit of a struggle!

This is Nicholas  - my bowling buddy.  His daddy works with my mommy and we all have lots of fun together.  Bowling was just the start of our good times together!
