First Concert!!

I went to my first show - to see Leftover Salmon at the Denver Botanic Gardens. It was awesome! But it rained the whole time. I sat under an unbrella with mommy and we stayed super dry. I got to dance a bit with daddy, but really the whole thing just put me to sleep.

Family Visits

Lots of family came to visit last week - to meet me in person! We had a lot of fun - cooking, talking, and laughing. They all helped mama out after her surgery.
Duel came and we played a lot in the backyard. He held me a lot and helped rock me to sleep.

Mama's cousin Marty, Aunt Jenny, Grandma, and "Grandma" Tesha all joked around on the couch. I love chatting with the ladies!

Grandma Maggie and "Grandma" Tesha sang to me in the mornings. It was great to snuggle up with them.

I like hugging Grandma, she was really snuggly and would sing songs in French to me.

Just Like My Mama

Just like my mama, I've found my thumb! I just realized that my hands are connected to my arms, and my fingers connected to those hands! Now I know how to get them in my mouth! Mama says that I shouldn't suck my thumb, but if I'm cranky, I just can't help it! I'm going to work on finding other things to suck on too. For now, everyone says how cute it is - so why give up now?

Playing the Piano

Grandma showed me how to play the piano on her visit. I played for a long time. I liked the pretty keys and the sweet sounds coming from the piano. Maybe when I grow up, I'll play as well as my cousins!

Playing With Tim

Tim A. came to visit and we had a GREAT time. First he flew me around like an airplane (I think I liked that!), then he made me a teapot. That guy is awesome! I have a feeling we're going to have a lot of fun times together as I grow up.

Week 13: Learning to Hold On!

Every week I show off new things. This week I got the wooden people and shoved them in my mouth - success!

The Weather's Been Great!

We spent some time at my cousins' house, hanging out, playing in the driveway. But I just couldn't stay awake long enough...I fell right asleep in Cade's arms! He is super soft.

Mommy's been pulling the dandelions - I don't know why, they are such a pretty yellow! I like hanging out in the yard with her, she says I make the day much brighter.

A flat tire! I finally got to ride in the bumbleride without my carseat and we got a flat! Maybe I'm growing so much it just couldn't handle my weight. Or, was it that goathead.

My First Ski Day

Daddy got the last ski day in at A-Basin and mommy and I hung out on the deck in the sun. It was fun - Dadddy says he will take me skiing as soon as mommy let's him - woohooo! Mommy says I need to be able to hold my head up first, at least :).

Girlie Bows

Aunt Jenny put these bows in my hair - so I would look pretty. I think I do! Thanks to Aunt Jenny, I get some serious girl time...

SURGERY!

Mama had surgery this week, so we all stayed with her at the hospital overnight. My first hospital stay! It wasn't so bad, but Daddy and I were ready to go home when mama was able to get up and walk again. The doctor saved her ovary and that means we might have more babies one day! Yippee!! I sat with mama in her bed whenever I could. We even practiced nursing sitting up sideways! Aunt Jenny and Mo came to visit and Aunt Jenny took me around the hospital - shopping in the gift shop.


Daddy took me to the park while mama was having surgery. We enjoyed the morning hours under a tree. I've got to spend a lot of time with daddy these last few days, while mama recovers.

New Foods!

I've started drooling over these new foods. I'm not eating any yet, but I like thinking about what I'm in for...tacos today...

A Day at the Park

We went with a bunch of friends to the park. It was nice laying out under the trees with a cool breeze blowing.
