Fish On!

Daddy took me on another fishing trip this fall.  I sat in the backpack and squealed with delight every time daddy hooked a fish.  Thankfully that fly whizzing by my head never caught me.  I heard daddy remark something like "The angling fever is a very real disease and can only be cured by the application of cold water and fresh, untainted air."  Every time I see a fish I shout trout and daddy smiles and laughs.  Am I coming down with something?

Our Annual FFFF (Family Fall Foliage Float)!

Although we didn't make it out to Ruby Horsethief this year, we made sure to get our FFFF in this year.  The colors were beautiful on the Upper Colorado and the weather was beautiful.  We went with Tracy, Kevin, and Drew - another fun river family!

Here we are - our river family!!!

Mama let me row a lot on this trip.  Fun!

Here are our buddies, happy to be on the water!

Drew can sleep ANYWHERE!  He loved his naps floating down the river.

Cute Pics from the Summer!

Just some cute pictures from the summer!

I am getting really good at using these curlers!

I am happiest in the mornings!

No one told me I wasn't supposed to look UNDER the doors!

I'm really into these sunglasses, sometimes I wear them straight through dinner!

My baby and I are really close.  I like to hold her tight when I sleep.  We snuggle!

I LOVE hats and this is my latest!

Mommy and I get ready together in the mornings.  I'm teaching her how to curl her hair and brush her teeth at the same time!

Sometimes I sleep but baby doesn't.  We trying to get on the same schedule.

Really, all you need is shoes and a diaper...the rest just falls into place.

This shot is a bit older, but one of my  favorites, so I'm putting it in again!

Spending Time With Friends

Here's me and Drew, hanging out while we wait for our parents to get the rafts ready for a float.  We like hanging out together.  I learn a lot from him!

This is me and Sam. We take music class together and always have time to hang out after class while our mommies chit chat at the coffee shop.  Hey - we get lots of snacks out of it!

Ezrah and I went on a trip with Mommy to Downtown Denver.  A huge place, but we had no problem fitting right in!

These are my yoga baby pals.  Our moms all did yoga together when we were growing in their bellies and now we celebrate all the holidays together.  Can you believe we all fit on the couch!

I love summer baseball games!  Friends, hotgogs, and big CHEERS!

Debora might be the best friend I've ever had.  She takes care of me almost every day and plays lots of games with me.  I heart her!

Summer in El Paso

When I was in El Paso this summer, I got to do a lot of relaxing.  Here I am with my second Cousing, Patrick.  He was super sweet!

I made sure to stop and smell the roses everyday, to remind me of the good things nature provides for me!

When I was bored, I  would adorn my toes with jewels!

Mommy took me down the BIG slides.

And I spent plenty of time soaking in the backyard pool.  Pretty fun times!

A Sad Time for Our Family

Sadly, in August, we lost mommy's stepmother, Bonnie, to cancer.  We all loved her very much and were not prepared for her to go.  We all miss her, a lot.

Here we are at a dinner the neighbors hosted for us while we were all in El Paso.

We were sad at the cemetary, but glad that most of us could be together to say goodbye.

2nd Annual Mountain Midwifery Mamas Tie Dye Party

We hosted the 2nd Annual MMM Tie Dye party at our house again.  It was loads of un and I got all sorts of new tie dye outfits out of it.  It's fun having all of our friends over and getting make art together!

This is my, Lyric, and Ezrah sitting on the swing.  Wish we knew how to make it go!

We got some of the mama's all together for a picture (and Papa Tu!).  Such a fun day!

Summer Raft Float with Nonna and Papa Tu!

In August, we went for a float down the Upper Colorado with my grandparents.  We camped one night at the put-in and then stayed overnight out on the river.  My Nonna and Papa Tu are adventurous!  Here is my and Papi, happy to be on the river..

Nonna and I waited at the put-in whiel everyone got the raft ready.  She taught me how to throw rocks into the river.

It rained like crazy while we were floating, but I stayed dry!  After we got to camp, I went exploring with Papi.  Daisy came with us.

Finally - sunshine!  Dadddy and I danced on the picnic table we were so happy!

Two adventurers, rowing us downstream...

Mama let me play on the raft at the end of the day.  We pretended we were setting off down the Grand Canyon together.  We pinky-sweared that we would do this together one day.  I can't wait!

Lucky for Daddy, I am good at rowing.  I sometimes get a little tired, but then he lets me just hang out.

We hit some gnarly rapids - it was AWESOME!  (I didn't row these, but I will some day.)

Here's our family - Mama, Me, and Daddy.  We love being a river family!

Summer 2010 (After Europe!)

Summer back in Colorado was super fun!  Since both my parents get time off in the summer, we have lots of great play dates together.  Here we are at the Taste of Colorado, listening to the one and only Rock of Love!  We also had great food at Uncle Henri and Aunt Jenny's sausage stand.  This is what summer is all about!

For our friend Drew's birthday, we went to Splash - a fun local water park in Golden.  Daddy helped me get around all the big kids!

Since I'm such a people watcher, it was a great wayt to spend some time.  Lots going on!

I spent some days over at Kerry's house and learned to play hide and seek. No one could find me behind these curtains! Ha!

We spent plenty of days out by the pool.  This pool is the best part of our neighborhood - always open, clean, and hardly anyone there.  It's like my own little resort, and we get to walk down the nature trail and by the pond to get there.  Awesome!

Some friends came to visit.  This is Nicholas - he is one of daddy's best friends.  They have a good time hanging out together. OH, and I like hanging out with Nicholas too!

Some of our best days are just out in the backyard on the porch.  This year we had so many flowers blooming, a garden full of vegetables, and a new patio set to enjoy it all with.  I am trying to get used to these bigger bikes.  I know I can do it!
