Baby Emmett

My new cousin came into the world on Monday Aug 24. Mama says he is a miracle baby. He turned breech 4 days before he was born, but when his mama went into labor on Sunday, the hospital people were able to do a "version" and turn him upside down again! A few hours later, his mama delivered Emmett, naturally (after working especially hard since he was "sunny side up"). We are so thankful that he came out this way, healthy, and just beautiful (and a solid 9.5lbs!).

Kayaking With Daddy

I went to the river last weekend to watch Daddy kayak down the river. Wow - he is really good, and brave! Mama and I went for a run along the river down a trail to keep up! Here I am next to one of the big rapids. Here's Daddy and our buddy Brian - carrying their kayaks out of the river run (they had to hike the boats out for over a mile!) Strong Daddy!

Backpackin' Baby O

Mama went out and bought me a new way to travel...on Daddy's back. I just barely fit, but with a little stuffing, I'm ready to go. Look where that backpack took me - to the top of the world! Daddy told me stories about hiking around Idaho and living in the forest when we got there.

Daisy gets to come to, but I'm not going to let her in my backpack - not enough room!

Daddy take me to yoga sometimes. He is the best yogi in the class. I'm learning my poses from him.

Daisy is such a funny puppy. Here she is sleeping, although she can't figure out which is softer, her bed or the carpet! Check her out here...she is AIRBORNE!

Visiting the Ranch

We went to our friend's ranch outside of Steamboat Springs, CO and we had a great time hanging around outside. I put on my cute face so I have to put up a lot of pictures from the weekend. Here's me and Mama, hanging out in the grass.

6 Months!

I know this post is a little late, but I've been really busy! Here I am at six months - 16 lbs!! And I'm in the 99 percentile in length. I think I'm gonna be long...I might be a swimmer like my Aunts Kate and Jenny!

Now I get to wear this toy around my neck...I love it! Sure is better then the food that seems to come along with it...

I'm not so sure about this. Mama and Daddy are trying to convince me that eating mashed up things is good for me, but, I'm a little unsure. At the end of this video, you'll see what I think about sweet potatos. :)

Sitting Up

I can sit up all by myself now. It's super fun. Here's me and my friend Eva sitting together. She is pinching my cheek, because she thinks I'm cute. I think she's cute! Here I am at Wahoo's in Boulder - I just sit right up on top of the table and can look around.

I used to have to sit with the Bobby around me to hold me up - sometimes I tip over!
