O, Those Eyes...

Here's how I got so big...

...eating my veggies of course! I sure do love these things, warm, cold, at home, at the park, wherever - steamed veggies just do the trick for me - I have a special "thing" for carrots.

9 Month Check Up!

A little late (didn't make it to the doc until 9 and a half months), but here is my 9 month check up weight - 19 lbs. I am growing by leaps and bounds. Now I can sit up for the picture...
And just for old time's sake, here I was at 2 days old, only 7 lbs...

Dupont Circle

We stopped at "the Burger Joint" for dinner one night and I had a personal entertainer. The guy handing out flyers for the Joint danced for almost an hour for me. All I had to do was stand in the window and look cute. Lots of people passing by were waving at me - one person even wanted my picture! It was like I was famous! This guy made mama and Aunt Jenny laugh a lot. He would dance, get back to work, dance, get back to work...I just giggled and kept on looking cute.

Family Visit in DC

I got to meet the Barber's in DC. This is Knox (bigger guy) and Kai (smaller guy), me, and mama. We had a ton of fun over at their house. Beans, their puppy, made me giggle.

Baby O's DC Debut

Last week I made my first trip to Washington DC and Philadelphia with mama and Aunt Jenny. Mama had two conferences to attend, so we went along for moral support. Here we are at the Denver airport. Mama needed her hands so she put me in the bin for safe keeping. We could definitely find some use for these bins at home!

Here we are at the National Zoo.

I rode the Metro a lot - it is the ONLY way to get around DC - quick and I don't have to be in my carseat - woohoo!

The animals at the zoo were pretty cool - especially this little bear that I got to get real close to. He didn't move a muscle, and neither did I!

On to the Jefferson Memorial (from the Roosevelt Monument side). Aunt Jenny held me close so I wouldn't fall in the water! Check out my toothy grin!

We saw the president's helicopter land on the white house lawn - how many babies get to see the president of the united states twice in one year (my first time was in mama's belly when the Prez accepted the democratic nomination)! I yelled out "what up" in case he remembered me.

Leftover Halloween...

Just a few more fun shots from Halloween...here are the cousins - all scary and sweet together. The girls wore beautiful wings as fairies and the boys were ready for some spooking! The Chef and the Bunny took the gang out trick'or'treating...

My friend Cody came along for the fun. He had whiskers on just like me. He sure is a cutie-pie!

Halloween

Since I know how to crawl now, it was easy to look like a little cat. But I was fascinated by the little cow...just wanted to lick him!

Fall Snow

The grillin' never ends, even in the snow. We got about 2 feet and 2 snow days! Daisy almost got lost it in all - look at her jump!

Daddy Forgot the Umbrella

I love helping Daddy cook, but using the grill in the rain adds a whole new dimensions. I kind of like the spiked look.
