Caught Escaping!

Harlow has been a very strong baby ever since she was born and seems to always get out of her swaddle.  But then we found these awesome velcro swaddles and she has been snug as a bug...except for this time, when she escaped, kind of...You can tell that she knows she's been caught in the picture, with both arms poking out of the swaddle!  We thought it was hilarious! 

Not a Bad View, Living in the Suburbs!!

This is our favorite few in Arvada.  When you come around the corner, you see mountains, big skies, and tree tops that change colors with the seasons.  And while you probably can't see it in this picture, you can actually see the wind turbines in the distance up against the mountains.  We are so lucky to have live in this beautiful place!

Arvada Kite Festival 2012!

A highlight of living in Arvada is that we can walk to the annual kite flying festival.  It's a great day with hundreds of nighbors flying kites all at once! 



Olivia got her first face paint at the festival...watch how funny she is about the air brushing...did you know they air brush face painting these days?!?!

Beautiful Girls!

One of the really fun things about Harlow joining our family is how she has really starting interacting with us, especially Olivia.  Harlow loves her big sister Olivia and whenever Harlow hears Olivia, she gets really excited and starts kicking and smiling. Olivia loves Harlow, but we can tell that Harlow thinks Olivia is one of the best things about life so far!

Nonna and Papa Tu;s Visit to Meet Baby Harlow!

We started April out with a visit from Nonna and Papa Tu!  It was a great way to bring in Spring!  We had lots of time for playing and laughing....

Olivia loves taking pictures and she's getting pretty good at it.  These pictures are all onces that she took and she can actually get people in the frame now...here are here best pictures yet!



Confetti Mayhem!!

Nothing beats our Easter tradition...the all out crazy confetti egg event!  Every year, before you realize what is happening, confetti eggs are getting smashed on any head in sight!  Even the babies...and we all love it! 

GrandMag actually looks pretty with confetti on her head! 

Even the 3 month old is not spared (i.e. her aunt used her as a shield!)

And here is our annual Easter family photo.  This year, we had a few extra Varda's in the picture (Nonna and Papa Tu!)...look closely this is the "make a funny face" photo - and it's pretty hilarious!

Followed by our "set up the camera on a hill" photo - but everyone is actually looking forward, hopefully making up for the off-centered picture!
