Guten Tag Von Deutschland!

Here we are on the way - hard to get a good picture, but I really did have a good time. Mama and Daddy said I was terrific. I got kind of confused because the day was short, but I am a pretty happy girl, so it was fun anyway. We got to Germany and stayed for 4 days. Off to Amsterdam next, but first, some memories...

The flight was a breeze (although a bit long). Stickers, cheese, daddy by my side - that's all I needed.

Here is Mama's Tante Margaret - we had lots of fun together, although she speaks funny!

We stayed here, at Mama's aunt and uncle's house - it is a beautiful house, with lots of flowers everywhere. It's tall like all the homes in Europe!

Everything is a bit smaller in Europe - even the swimming pools!

The garden at their house was lovely - pretty fountain, lots of roses, prety lights...we loved being there.
We're here during the world cup - Ja Deutschland!! Flags are everywhere!

Summer Playtime

Wade's got a great backyard set up...

Nicholas came from California to visit me. He'll be moving to Denver soon!!

Yoga babies summer pool party (rained out) but a party anyway!

Ben came over to read with me!

Even daddy's hanging around everyday!

O, Those Eyes

Swimming at Wade's house (luckily I still have my rolls!). When I eat watermelon I look like this...!!!

Sometimes my hair is all over the place! I like the look.

How can you resist this face?

Bongo ball in tie dye on kitchen floor days...

Daddy dressed me in this purple dress - I LOVE IT!

We're spending lots of time outside these days...

Morning Coloring and Playdough

This playspot works great for coloring and playdough. The sun shines in and I get artistic!

Baby Twin Cousins!

Aunt Jenny is pregnant with twins!! We are all so excited. Uncle Henri is a twin, so he thinks this is very special. She's due around Thanksgiving and those babies are giving her a heck of a time for now. I bet they'll be great troublemakers with me when they come over to play.

Right now, it seems to me they are named "A" and "B", from what this ultrasound says. Cool - I'm "O" so they'll fit right in.

Summatime! Pooltime!

Going to the pool is our daily thing now. I am getting used to it, but think by the end of the summer I'll be able to jump off the side right into daddy's arms - no problem! For now, I like lounging in the floaters - this tube fits me perfectly!
If no one will take me to pool, I just fill my sandbox turtle up with water and go for a dip. Daisy loves this too, because then we can swim together.

Hey - can't a girl just sit in the sun without a camera in her face for once?

The sunlight shining down on me...or maybe it's angel saying hello?

Katja helps me swim around, until I can get the freestyle down. She's a great example - and I like being with her anyway!

Funnest Thing Ever...Visiting Grandma & Uncle Garrett

Mama and I went to Oregon to see Grandma and Uncle Garrett. There place is a ton of fun - all the stuff to play with and look at. I was one happy, smiling kid that week. We spent a lot of time sitting outside, eating, talking, and smelling the flowers. When it rained, we wore hoodies.
We rode the Salem Carosel. At first, I'll admit, I was freaked, but then after watching it go a few more times, I was queen of the rodeo!

Grandma helped me do a little more research about my study on persuading parents to do what you want them to do - in this case, getting a slide on my backyard swingset. Grandma thought that if I did a cost analysis and added it to the portfolio of findings, it might do the trick. Thanks for the tip Grandma!

When I wasn't hanging out on the patio, or doing research, I was cleaning! I love scrubbing things and sweeping. I wish I had a smaller broom, then I could really "clean house"!

By the end of the day at Grandma's, I'm pooped. It might look like I'm posing like the angel behind me, but really I'm just staring off glassy eyed into the distance for no reason.

We miss you Grandma and Uncle Garrett!

Camping on the Poudre

The weather was great and the river is flowing...we went camping on the Poudre with friends. Mama and Daddy kayaked and I got to play with Andrea! He was Daisy's favorite thing - a carcass! Gross. My buddgy Drew taught me that one of the highlights of camping is getting to drive while everyone sets things up. They think they're "keeping us out of the way" but we know who's really having all the fun here!
Sitting, reading in the woods is just one of those things we do camping...
The big launch - go Daddy go!
Apparently, daddy's wear skirts too...
