Dancing Baby O!!

Mama has this HILARIOUS app on her phone, and I love it. Makes me shake it!

My First Present From Mama and Daddy

And it was a good one. They brought home a piano for me to learn on when I get big enough. We are all excited to have more music in the house. Hopefully one day I'll be as good as my cousins! This is ours...before it was at our house.
Here is my first concert...

Art With Friends

Grace, Ellaleah, and I went to the Children's museum and played in the art room. We barely fit in the chairs. Am I allowed to eat these crayons?

We were good art students!

Just a Day in the Life of Baby O

Daisy's bed was gone for a few days, so I had the cubby all to myself for playing!

After we took down Christmas decorations, I found two leftover candles that plug in. I was determined to get them apart - or at least figure out what the heck they were all about. I sat here in the window working on this for about 45 minutes. Mama finally took the video below because she thought it was so funny. I just love taking thing apart and puttin them together again - especially if they're tricky. I might be an engineer when I grow up - maybe.

Now I Know Why Daddy Loves the Snow...

Daddy may be squinting, but believe me - it was a great day. Finally some powder. Mama and Daddy took turns skiing while I hung out in the lodge. It was great! It was snowing all day!

Skiing means hanging out at the ski house with Kenny - I've been trying not to like him, but we're becoming better friends all the time.

This Baby Loves the Water...

There is nothing better than hanging out in the water...in the bath, in the pool, I just really love it all! One of my favorite parts is snuggling up after getting wet!

Here's my favorite part...diving into the pool when Daddy catches me!

New Year...New Food...

Thank goodness I got my appetite back. I still have a long way to go, but I am enjoying all the flavors! It's hard to keep it in my mouth - how do grown ups do this?

Kerry is teaching me to drink out of a straw. I'm not so sure about this yet...

Things just taste better when I put it in my mouth all by myself.

We call this video "Asparagus is Funny". I sure do love my asparagus, and when Daddy is with me, everything is funny. I learned to say "mmmm" after putting things in my mouth - seems to make mama and daddy laugh - whatever floats their boat!

It's a New Year!

It was a rough end to my first year...I had a cold for weeks, runny nose, even my eye had a cold! I lost my appetite - the works! (well, not the works, no cough or stomach problems - whew!). But I never stopped smiling!
Now I'm back to my old big-eyed self. Watch out new year, I'm coming!!!

Daddy is Teaching Me All Kinds of Things!

Chicago - again!

I'm a little late blogging about this, but this was so great, I can't leave it out. We got to go to Chicago again - this time with Ben and Kendra. Here is Kendra holding me as watched a band play. I was memorized...they let me use a shaker, like I was a band member!
We stayed in a beautiful hotel - way up high over the river. There was a perfect "people watching" spot for me.
Sure was hard to get to sleep when there was so much going on!

Christmas in Colorado

After getting home from Michigan, we had Christmas in Colorado. It started off with some reindeer cheer. Lots of good food...
I got so many nice gifts - including my first baby doll. She even came with a stroller.
By the endof the night, the brother-in-laws were getting crazy - chugging contest with huge bottles of vodka...ha!

Christmas Day 2009!

We flew home on Christmas Day. Here we are in the airport - waiting for the flight. I was REALLY tired! When we finally made it to Ohio for our connection, I was pretty spacey - sleeping on and off while traveling is not the ideal was to get some rest. But we had fun!

Opening presents was a busy time. I loved my new shakers right away!

Family Photos in Michigan

Here I am with a bunch of people I love...Daddy, Boppa, Papa Tu, Nonna, Mama, and Grammy. We spent a lot of time together this Christmas. It was a blessing!

Here is just me, Boppa, and Grammy. It's hard to smile all the time.

Me and Boppa...he has some great stories.

Grammy and I had lots of heart to hearts. I like her, a lot!

Christmas in Michigan

This trip to Michigan ended my first year of 14 flights! (and visiting 10 states - CO, TX, OR, WA, MT, NM, IL, MI, DC (not really a state), and UT (which I saw for the first time from a raft on the Colorado river!)

We went to visit Nonna and Papa Tu in Grand Rapids. It was a great visit, with so many fun things going on the whole time. We saw deer out of their dining room window - it was beautiful.

Here I am looking out the window...
Daddy fed me from the same chair that Papa Tu fed him from. By the end of the visit, I learned how to climb right out of the chair!

We celebrated Daddy's birthday again, with his favorite - cherry cheesecake.

Here are the guys - Papa Tu, Daddy, and Boppa - Nonna's dad. Aren't they handsome?

Baby O's First Christmas - 2009!

Christmas started out early, with decorating the house and celebrating Daddy's birthday (and Brennan and Maria's)! We tried to take a picture with Daisy, but she wouldn't cooperate. At least we managed to all look forward and smile in this one... Kerry couldn't wait for Christmas, so I got to open my present from her on Daddy's birthday. It was a great new stand-up toy. It was fun opening my first Christmas present - who knew there were so many to come!

We just decorated a fern this year, since we were going to be gone in Michigan for most of it. It was fun putting all the lights and pretty ornaments on it. Daddy tried to decorate me too!

Check out the "present opening" chaos. I am almost standing up by myself!
