Olivia played soccer this year for the first time. She loved it, more than we ever thought she would. She still has some work to do to get the MVP award, but no one was more excited about her soccer trophey than this super player. This is the first trophey she has ever gotten and the joy of it was really fun to watch (by her 10th, I'm sure the novelty will wear off, but we sure are happy to celebrate this little bit of fun with her while it lasts!).
Here is her team (minus one player who ran off before the picture was taken). This is the "under 5" group, and just when you thought your daughter was tall, you meet the little one on the left...TALL. It seems though that the little ones are the fastest, go figure. Coach John was terrific and we are all looking forward to playing again in the spring. GO MERMAIDS!
