Here's what Olivia decided to Wear to the Park Today...

What girl doesn't look good in a tie-dyed dress, yoga pants, an apron, mardi gras beads, shades, and a great hat?!?!  Olivia knows how to put it to-get-her!

She brought her bike along too, for some spins!

Her laughter is contagious!  She's getting better at riding, but has a ways to go before she's hopping the curb, or getting the handle bars in the right direction.  But if you listen closely, she will explain to you the science of "orange poop bags".

Olivia helped dress Harlow too...ha!  Isn't she the cutest little sugar bug!

Harlow's First Hike!

The weather is great and we took Harlow out on the trails.  The girls did great, O in Daddy'd backpack and Harlow in the carrier on Mommy.  O has a great time just hangin' in the backpack.

But an even better time on Daddy's strong back!

Here is our hiking crew!  Olivia chose a dress and tights for the hike...with keens, perfect!

Here's Harlow after the hike...with a new 'do.  She was digging it!

If Ballet Doesn't Pan Out, B-Ball is a Great Second!

Daddy played in the annual teacher/student basketball game O thought it was terrific and couldn't wait to get in on the fun.  She had a great time playing on the court with Daddy and his pals.

As you can see in the video, her aim is still off, but she has potential.  She runs fast at least!

Tu-Tu's, Tusks, and 3 Year Olds in Ballet

Miss Olivia Snow has started taking ballet!!!  And she loves it.  We find this video pretty funny...it is everything that 3 year old's "do" in ballet - run around like crazy, looking very pretty, laughing a lot, and hanging on the bars...adorable!

Eleven 3 year olds and Miss Jen does a WONDERFUL job keeping them all busy dancing!

After ballet class, we play outside on the whooly mammoth, the big snakes, mice, and dinosaurs!  This is O's favoriate.

Keeneland Races, Lexington KY 2012

Harlow, Grandma, and Mommy all went to Kentucky last week.  Mommy spoke at the Public Health Systems and Services Research Conference.  When she was done, the crew headed to the races!  Grandma found the most spectacular blue hat!  What a beauty!

Here we are, with Harlow in her wide brimmed white hat - another beauty!  The racetrack was gorgeous and the track was hot!  Mommy won $.40!

Mommy brought a few of her students with her to the conference (her postdoc and three PhD students - they all did great presenting their research!).

Caught Escaping!

Harlow has been a very strong baby ever since she was born and seems to always get out of her swaddle.  But then we found these awesome velcro swaddles and she has been snug as a bug...except for this time, when she escaped, kind of...You can tell that she knows she's been caught in the picture, with both arms poking out of the swaddle!  We thought it was hilarious!

Not a Bad View, Living in the Suburbs!!

This is our favorite few in Arvada.  When you come around the corner, you see mountains, big skies, and tree tops that change colors with the seasons.  And while you probably can't see it in this picture, you can actually see the wind turbines in the distance up against the mountains.  We are so lucky to have live in this beautiful place!
