Getting Ready to Move...

I'm working on my upper arm strength - and almost ready to go...look out!

It won't be long...

My new cousin came into the world on Monday Aug 24. Mama says he is a miracle baby. He turned breech 4 days before he was born, but when his mama went into labor on Sunday, the hospital people were able to do a "version" and turn him upside down again! A few hours later, his mama delivered Emmett, naturally (after working especially hard since he was "sunny side up"). We are so thankful that he came out this way, healthy, and just beautiful (and a solid 9.5lbs!).

Kayaking With Daddy

I went to the river last weekend to watch Daddy kayak down the river. Wow - he is really good, and brave! Mama and I went for a run along the river down a trail to keep up! Here I am next to one of the big rapids.

Backpackin' Baby O

Mama went out and bought me a new way to travel...on Daddy's back. I just barely fit, but with a little stuffing, I'm ready to go.

Look where that backpack took me - to the top of the world! Daddy told me stories about hiking around Idaho and living in the forest when we got there.
