Sitting Up (with a little help from bumbo)

Daddy sat me in my little Bumbo so he could fix my strolle wheel. I like this thing because I can sit up all by myself! Although, not completely straight yet...

From Play to Sleep in 5 Minutes

I sure do get worn out these days, with all the camping, hanging around outside, playing with Daisy - whew. Playing one minute...

Hanging out with Grace, her dad, and my daddy the next minute....

Asleep the next minute....

Drooling the next minute...

Completely comatose the next. Even Grace couldn't wake me up!

Four Months Old

I'm finally four months old now! And weighing in at 14.5. I'm almost twice my weight now - definitely twice the handful (at least that's what my mama says)...

CAMPING!!

Finally, mama and daddy have started taking me camping. I knew there was more to this show than just the house, the car, and the backyard. We've gone twice so far. First we spent the night (in the rain!) on the Arkansas River near Beuna Vista. It was so cold, but the folks kept me warm in lots of gear and my sling. I was a trooper - sleeping like a champ and not fussing at all. Then two weeks later we spent the night in the Poudre Canyon near Fort Collins. The weather was so much better - sunshine! Here I am hanging out in my camp chair with Daisy - just relaxin' in the shade.

I really like sleeping and playing outside all day. Here I am hanging out with daddy on the paco pad.

Camping on the Poudre was especially fun because lots of mama's yoga mommies came with us. This is me and Grace, holding hands in our bumbos. Two other babies came and we all chilled and camped like we've been doing it our whole lives! I think we'll have lots of camping adventures together.

Enjoying the Warm Summer Days!

The days are warm and we've started hanging around outside. I love the trees, flowers, and clouds - it's all so relaxing!
This is my first self portrait, now that my hands are working! The trees behind me were really tall!

Some friends gave me this big pink hat. It matches my new tie-dye! I like to sit in my bumbo and play in the fresh air.

We went to watch my cousins play soccer. I got to sit with Aunt Mo, right next to the next new cousin to be born (in her belly right now!).

By the end of the time, I'm a little spacey sometimes - so much to look at!

My First Summer at the River!

The weather is warm and mama and daddy have introduced me the river! It's great - cool water, lots of rapids, and a ton of fun people to play with me!
I've learned to relax anywhere, even with mama at the side of a river - while daddy kayaks.

I helped daddy through a stick for Daisy. She swam out and brought it back to us.

Daddy gets all dressed up in river gear, safe with a lifejacket on. I think he looks really sharp.

Mama took me to my first kayaking rodeo. I met Monica and Christy there. Thet arev "river chicks" - like me.
